The new offerings, branded as the Chesapeake Corporate Happy Hour Series, give corporate and private clients in and near DC, a menu of ready to book experiences that go far beyond the typical folding table of beer and wine. Every themed happy hour includes two hours of professional bar service, a mobile bar setup, mixers, garnishes, and a curated cocktail program, with the option to layer in snack bars and full catering spreads priced per person.
Themed Happy Hours With Local Personality
The series debuts with a lineup of curated themes, including:
- Maryland Heritage Mini Happy Hour, a locally rooted celebration featuring Natty Boh, Orange Crushes, a Boardwalk Inspired Popcorn Bar, and nostalgic touches like lemon halves with peppermint sticks
- Fall Happy Hour, available as a full Halloween edition or a general autumn experience with seasonal cocktails such as Cinnamon Bourbon Apple Cider and fall espresso martinis
- Holiday Happy Hour, built for year end parties and client appreciation events with festive signature cocktails, a hot chocolate bar, and holiday themed decor
- Blast From The Past Happy Hour, where teams pick the 80s, 90s, or 2000s and CBE delivers period authentic drinks, a decade themed snack bar, and era decor
Food add ons range from a DIY Popcorn Bar starting at just $3 per person to a full Cocktails and Conversations catering menu featuring charcuterie displays, shrimp cocktail platters, petite sandwiches, brunch bites, and dessert spreads. Coffee bar and craft mocktail bar services round out the beverage options for teams that want inclusive, alcohol free choices.
Team Building Where the Office Becomes the Entertainment
The interactive lineup turns coworkers into competitors and cocktail crafters, with sessions designed for groups of up to 25 guests and parallel groups available for larger teams:
- Last Bartender Standing Competition, a Chopped style showdown where surprise ingredients drop, guest judges from the office weigh in, and the winner takes home a trophy and bar kit gift bag
- Mocktail Mixology Class, one hour of craft mocktail instruction covering elevated recipes like Phony Negronis and smoked Espresso No Tinis, followed by an open mocktail bar
- Mixology Class, a theme curated session built around each team’s spirit preference, with options ranging from bourbon and whiskey to Italian cocktails to an Edgar Allan Poe inspired menu
- Mahjong and Mini Martinis, a slower paced experience launching soon in partnership with a local Mahjong instructor, pairing guided gameplay with a curated mini martini flight
Every team building session includes professional CBE bartenders, all materials and ingredients, full setup, and complete cleanup, and every guest takes home a mixology kit with shaker, muddler, strainer, and recipe cards.
